CANADIAN ACTIVIST, AUTHOR, AND PODCASTER DAVID PECK TO HOST 10 PART SERIES!
TORONTO, June 14, 2021 — THE IMPACT SERIES announced today that it will launch a new podcast series titled “Driving Change” hosted by activist David Peck this month. The 10 part series will tackle various social issues and explore the roles that media, awareness, education, and legislation play in offering solutions to these critical social challenges.
Hosted by renowned activist and media celebrity David Peck, Driving Change takes listeners on an informed exploration into the heart of social issues through the lenses of award-winning filmmakers, renowned activists, political leaders, notable celebrities, and inspiring business leaders. "Driving Change is really what it’s all about for me – good questions, storytelling and the splash and ripple effect,” stated Peck. “It’s about engaging in meaningful conversations and finding moments where we can empathize, cross over and connect with others. Together we’re going to shine some light on these important artists and their life-giving stories."

Driving Change's first Episode, “Finding a Balance”, will feature Pulitzer-Prize winning Boston Globe reporter David Abel, director of the award-winning film ENTANGLED. Activist Paul Watson and North Atlantic right whale researcher Moira Brown will also be joining the discussion. Episode 1 will be available on June 18. Abel’s documentary explores how climate change has accelerated a collision between one of the world’s most endangered species, the North Atlantic right whale; North America’s most valuable fishery, the lobster industry; and federal agencies in the United States and Canada mandated to protect both.
