The story of “Don’t Worry Darling,” set in 1950s America, follows seemingly happy couple Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles) living in an enclosed company town named Victory, located in the middle of a desert far from the rest of the country. The town, led by affluent couple Frank (Chris Pine) and Shelley (Gemma Chan), splits itself between the hard-working men of the Victory Project and the wives at home who keep things clean. The seemingly perfect community of Victory begins to fracture for Alice, leading her to wonder just how well-kept the town truly is, as well as what might be the true purpose of its existence.
Written by Katie Silberman, reuniting with Olivia Wilde following her work on “Booksmart,” shot by Matthew Libatique of “Black Swan” and “A Star is Born” fame, and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures Canada.
