DARREN'S TOP 10 BLUMHOUSE FAVORITE FILMS

Updated: Mar 5

With the release of #ImaginaryFilm this week, it seemed like a good time to look back at some of my favourite films from #Blumhouse. Sure, there are tons of films that they release that I despise, I’m looking at you Five Nights at Freddy’s, the terrible legacy sequel The Exorcist Believer, and completely mind numbing remake of Black Christmas; but they have been responsible for some truly outstanding films over the past decade. Yes, they are best known for their #horror films, but they have also been responsible for critically acclaimed films such as Jordan Peele’s Get Out and Spike Lee’s BlacKkKlansman. As a studio, Jason Blum has been a true champion of making small budget films, supporting independent and first time filmmakers, and turning them into box office successes, and for that alone I will always watch their films, but the following films are the films that to this day remain my favourite to be released by Blumhouse. Here are my Top 10 favourite films of Blumhouse:
